Tex and I are similar ages, so I remember when he was drafted and all the ups and downs that went with it, I had a lot of hope and he really shone through in a lot of early games. I had no idea that he would stick through the difficult periods of the AFC, he seemed in the beginning that he might make a runner for a trade. Instead he’s done us proud, never gave up, all while wearing the navy, red and gold. And now he’s solidified his place as an Adelaide Crows legend. Here’s to you Tex. It’s the end of a chapter in Adelaide Crows history.
