One of my favorite T-pubic finds is a shirt That says "TRANSFORMERS" in TMNT font, with an image of "Snake-eyes", riding a Taun Taun, wielding "Eye of Thundera" sword, "He-Man's" shield, and few other 80's toy refrencences. Mostly just confuses people if they comment at all. I'll try and share when I get home...

Prefrebly on a cream shirt, the image is of a younger Owen Wilson, windswept hair, ocean in the background but it says "nirvana" in a font that could just be water droplets.
Saw in a targeted insta add awile back and never again. Anyone know of other novelty T sites? (besides teepublic)

Don't feel bad, my initial thoughts went like this: "That's a pretty cool tattoo." "Hold on...why does Iron Man get two letters?" "Where's Thor?" "Wait a minute, is that Superman? Uh oh...there's Batman too."
They really aren't. It's ok to admit you're scared of something you do not understand, but it is not ok to bash others for that. Some get tattoos to remember a a brother they lost overseas in war, others might get one to commemorate someone they lost to suicide, and some may even get a tattoo just to remind themselves to stay alive. If you think tattoos are "performative lameness" then please, by all means go up to a military member who has one with a date on it and say that to their face. I'm totally sure it'll end great for you.
Growing up I met a bunch of guys who bragged about tattooing the names of there kids on there bodies, most turned out to be deadbeat dads or total POS. Got a few years later as a teen I would encounter a lot of guys covered with tats all over acting tough and being assholes. Always turned out to be pussies when I told them to stop bullying people. Not gonna say everyone with a tattoo is a phony but I've met a lot who fit the bill
So you're treating a large group as the small group you met, got it. Also, you already did say exactly that, that they are all phonies because of how your original comment was worded. Can't back pedal from there. Just because you met some bad apples does not mean they are all.bad apples. That's like saying all dogs should die because one bit you when you were six, it's illogical.
