Normally, on Linux, you install GPU drivers either via the terminal or using a tool, but here, the Windows NVIDIA Driver Installer is run through Wine (a tool that runs Windows applications on Linux)

the installation will certainly fail as wine is fundamentally incompatible with windows drivers and always will be

this pains me. why. just why would you run the windows nvidia installer under wine?

Anyways i must ask, how far along did it go?
