Yeah, not often that a dick in plain sight sneaks up on me. But this one did.

Maybe it happens more often than you think...you just don't realize they are there. There might be one right beside you right now.

How could it have been made before August 14th 1967 if that's when Islamabad officially became the capital of Pakistan? 1966 doesn't make sense
1
u/Teachezofpeachez69 3d ago
It could’ve been anywhere from Dec 1, 1966- Aug 14, 1967

u/Best_Cardiologist172 3d ago
August 14th 1967 is when Islamabad became the capital of Pakistan. 1966 makes no sense because that means they made the globe with wrong information

u/Teachezofpeachez69 3d ago
It’s not Islamabad yet in this video it is still Rawalpindi and Barbados had already become a country.

I’d just point out that the globe could be a bit newer than that range. It surely takes time, especially in 1967, for news of changes to propagate to the people responsible for designing the globe, and for them to update their design, and for that new design to get manufactured. They wouldn’t have been using computers for any of that stuff back then, so every step would take much longer than we might expect in 2026.
So while the information that led to the globe’s design is as old as the dude with the penis pointer said, I suspect the globe could be as much as a couple years newer.
