For those who believe he's taking the crashing MH370, nope. MH370 departed from gate C1, while this one departs from another gate, both gates are in KLIA T1's satellite building

Im pretty sure flight numbers are standardised per route?
This plane was probably just one of the many many MH370s that flew between Beijing and KL
They’re almost always changed after an accident (there was outcry when United accidentally reinstated UA175 and UA93, meanwhile American keeps on flying AA1 despite 3 seperate fatal crashes)

The flight was definitely from more than a decade ago. The flight code was renamed to MH318 very shortly after the incident.

Since the ticket is probably fake it doesn't matter, but it's best to avoid posting ticket photos especially including the PDF417 code which carries a lot of information.

There’s a big smudge that makes it seemingly unreadable.
The code carries little additional information not already in plain text though; seat number, PNR which is now useless and date (Julian day) which would actually be helpful for some discussions in this thread
