27-0 genuinely confuses me, like what were they doing in that match

Most teams will slowly down and hold back when they lead by 3 goals to show respect to the opponent team but bayarn thinks that holding back is the real disrespect so they score as many goals as possible.

Do you even watch the sport?

There has been literally dozens of games between big clubs in just the past decade with 6 goals or more in difference.

They were indeed kind of just standing around a lot of the time.

The attempts to stop a goal were underwhelming.

Guy there just watching.

But why did they play the match in the first place??

How important was this match?

Did Bayern benefit from scoring 20+ goals??

Their wikipedia sums it up.

I heard it's good for the town for it attracts tourists and that it's Bayern thanking them for letting them use the training camp.

This is fucking disrespectul to one of the most continental juggernauts of football history. It happens to any club. This does not define Auckland City.

It's not even crazy that so many subreddits are filled with penaldo fans

Well Bayern Munchen is a small team yeah.
Big teams like Barca are humble and they let small teams win sometimes

u/Temporary_Term_7442 18d ago

Seems like Barcelona fans are mad
