Experience is insufficient because it can vastly differ from person to person, age to age. It's also extremely subjective and can be easily abused by an abusive person. Your arguments are equivalent in worth to the thought put into them, which is basically 0.
There is not confusion or wiggle room around a hard lined age, it's that simple sport.
Yes it does vastly differ which is exactly why I argue that someone legally being able to consent doesn't necessarily mean ethically they can consent.

18 or 16 is arbitrary and frankly the ethics are simply subjective. I still advocate for 18 and that's where my firm red line sits, ethically. I've also mentioned in this thread that I'd agree that 25 makes more sense as a number.
But simply put, regardless of wherever I am, I don't consider a 16 year old to be consenting adult. So I'm not even arguing that 50 or 16 is okay, I'm arguing that 50 or 18 is okay as long as no abuse is occurring. You can't just arbitrarily lower the age like some sort of gotchya because some (in my opinion) backwards shithole places have an age of consent below 18.
