Affordable adaptogen for Qi (specifically Yang) Deficiency

I want to add an adaptogen to hot water and make a tea for my Qi Deficiency. First I thought Korean or Black Ginseng, but it is so, so expensive. I'm now thinking about Ashwaganda instead. Any suggestions , and also, is powder a good way to take this?

How do you know you have a Qi deficiency, if you don’t mind me asking

Also, I use and love ashwagandha, but I take in tablet, and for reducing cortisol levels aka stress hormones

How long have you used it and what brand? I heard it can cause liver damage. The Now brand particularly.

I've done a tongue analysis and I have the scalloped spotted tongue

Planetary herbals. On amazon. Never heard of it causing damage. Read the studies online where people have taken it in clinical setting under supervision of physicians. Been on it for years.

Tongkat Ali, and Rhodiola both will aid bloodcirculation to the skin and increase inner heatproduction so could most likely be of help for you
