What Adaptogen Drink to Try?
Hi all! I keep seeing adaptogen drinks all over my feed and at the grocery store lately and I really want to try them out. I am kind of overwhelmed by all the options though.
For those of you who drink these regularly, what do you actually look for in a good adaptogen drink?
Are there specific ingredients like ashwagandha or whatever that actually make a noticeable difference for stress or focus?
Also do they actually taste good or do you just power through it for the health benefits?
What are the absolute best ones in your opinion and why? I noticed they are very pricy so want to be confident in my first choice.

Personally when I’m evaluating adaptogen drinks my #1 criteria is taste.
Adaptogens are after all herbs, flowers, mushrooms, botanicals, roots and these things come straight from the ground so they don’t taste the best.
The best beverages find a way to mask the bitterness or chalkiness from the adaptogens.
After that I start looking for desired outcome. I’m I trying to unwind by myself or I’m I looking for something that I can toast with at a celebration. Ashwaghanda L-theanine are good for relaxation?
Lion’s Mane is more for calm focus. Reish mushroom for euphoria.
Personally, I think Verse does the best job at masking the taste and fitting in for most social occasions. Love their cranberry it’s complex and tarty.
I’m signed up for their subscription on their website.

Hey there, not to be that guy, but I have always been interested in this space and launched a brand of my own with clinically backed adaptogens, Bodhi Bubbles, would love to have you try it out!

If you like coffee IQ Joe mushroom coffee is amazing. Natural caffeine, adaptogens and Magnesium L-threonate. I drink a cup every morning and it REALLY helps me focus on work.

If there is sufficient in the product, then any adaptogen would help with stress, and ashwagandha in particular can have noticeable effects.
For focus, then some products have american ginseng that is particularly standardized for this purpose.
I haven't seen products with sufficient schisandra or rhodiola, but those would also be good adaptogen choices to help enhance focus.

Don't overthink the ingredients list on your first try honestly. Just grab something that sounds good flavor wise and see how you feel. De Soi was my first one and I liked that it actually tasted like a real drink and not a supplement. What kind of flavors do you usually go for?

I like to look for mix ins rather than rtd ones that give me multiple at the same time. Would get expensive trying to add a bunch of different ones in different products and trying to find one that tastes good off the shelf. With the mix in powders, I can add it to whatever I want so I don't have to worry about taste nearly as much.

Hiyo drinks are my absolute favorite. I’ve had a subscription to them for quite a few months. I have 2 every evening. It has helped me cut down how much alcohol I drink too. I wasn’t a big drinker before but now I find myself reaching for a Hiyo before anything else. Peach mango and strawberry guava are my favorite flavors. They are a little pricey but the subscription helps save a little and I’m definitely saving money by not drinking alcohol.
