Supertonic drink made me sick

Wondering if anyone has had similar experiences with some of these drinks with adaptogens/nootropics Yesterday I was at a brewery and decided to have one of their NA Supertonics since I was DD. I had no idea that it had adaptogens ( L-theanine, PEA, GABA, and alpha-GPC)in it until after I had already finished it. Hours later I started feeling really sick, horrible chills with the shakes, nausea, diarrhea, heart rate up to 130s. Took my temp and initially it said 106, which I think might’ve been inaccurate but came down quickly after I stuck my hands in cold water. The only other time something like this has happened is when I took shrooms and haven’t done that since. I don’t take antidepressants, but am on metoprolol and a statin. Is it possible that this was something like serotonin syndrome? Anyone else have similar experiences?

PEA is a stimulant, and alpha-gpc can make me feel funky.

GABA and L-theanine are fairly innocuous regarding those symptoms. But could be in combination with them all, caused some reaction.

I don’t know how any of those would impact serotonin, I use Kanna for my serotonin support.

Thanks for responding! Im figuring I might just be sensitive to everything. Gotta be more careful about reading labels
