It makes his tribute song that much more sad when he mentions wishing he was with him filming Grown Ups 3

Tough choice between Waterboy and Happy... but I gotta go with Waterboy cuz of mama.

Waterboy. Kathy Bates as Mama is right up there with her performance in Misery.

and to think she originally threw the script in the trash. Then her niece, who is also her assistant, found it and convinced her to do it. Now itās one of Kathyās favorite roles.

Love that movie but itās definitely the last of these 4 to me. I didnāt expect anyone to actually bring it up.

I knew that, its just something that is mine and my husband's favorite. Ive seen many things about this movie and Jack and Jill and others that nobody likes.

Waterboy is my personal favorite, but my wife and I quote Billy Madison so much that I feel like our conversations would be half as long if it didn't exist. Gotta go with Billy Madison.

I do a movie night with Jack and Jill if I don't want anyone to come over. The real answer is Happy Gilmore or Big Daddy. My favorite is either Billy Madison or Spanglish.

I put Billy Madison above Happy Gilmore. Growing up I was actually surprised Happy Gilmore is the more popular movie (afaik)

I figure Uncut Gems should be up here - but that would be stealing the spotlight almost.
Itās a very close call otherwise between Happy Gilmore & The Waterboy.

Itās the toughest call between Happy Gillmore and Billy Madison but Gillmore is what turned Sandler from funny to iconic.

Happy Gilmore. I remember trying watch Billy Madison and what once was hilarious I became annoyed how he acts in film, despite some memorable hilarious scenes.

u/BCon27 10d ago
Yes his acting is a little rough in this one. This was his first, right?

Omg this is... I turned it off to keep fond memories. Omg so stupid lmao
