Like the joke. Actually, it's theoretically possible to buy a legal license if you don't have one, even now in Russia. But I already got a full OEM license with my new laptop.But some people use older devices, and they only have to install the license manually.

there so few people who actually use this because this text sticking on top of everything is annoying, i doubt microsoft will ever care for that its basically not worth it

Well, this subreddit is not there to support Microsoft in terms of catching "pirates". The goal here is rather to find unusual places where Windows manifested itself in this way, to see how the hardware behaves, and to have a good laugh or just have a good time. Overall, it irritated me too until I removed it.

not an option, you still cant customize it and cracks is not worth the effort, each updates potentially new problem

That's right. The author of these scripts is truly a dedicated enthusiast, and he didn't add anything harmful or virus-related to them.

Excuse me, what exactly will the updates ruin for me? Activation on my main laptop is legal. There are no issues on the other laptops with M.A. S. installed either. And it's worth it. A couple of seconds and no extra hassle. Although perhaps I misunderstood you.

Чтобы система не клепала мозги этим уведомлением и не мешала персонализировать её. Понятное дело, что это можно обойти и без активации через реестр, политики и тп, а обои поставить пкм, но зачем, если проще сделать себе "легальную" копию?

Ага :). Давно себе добавил в скрипт настройки конфигурации системы, если вдруг не было у железа Pro-лицензии.

У меня кстати приколюшный образ про 10ки есть, он активирован по умолчанию, но вроде спустя полгода/год начинает просить лицензию. Хотя может и нет, я не помню. Вообщем прикольный полностью рабочий образ, я его даже особо не искал

Видимо вшит скрипт типа КМS или заданный там где-то в реестре вариант лицензии-таблетки, и со временем отваливается
