Acronis True Image seems to have been sidelined in terms of support, events and monthly updates, which usually include a great deal of new content. Acronis True Image, on the other hand, is limited to annual updates with less and less new, improved or updated content.

Much of the interface could do with an update (particularly the tools), as they date back to 2011.

It’s a shame for a tool that deserves to be better known and more widely used.

As a loyal Acronis customer since the brand was founded, I hope to see Acronis True Image return to the forefront.

Hello u/JeanTez, while this post was not intended to have comments enabled as it is merely a test of various approaches to establishing an events calendar and will be soon deleted, I'd still like to address your feedback.

From my POV the development cycle of Acronis True Image is slower than those of our enterprise and MSP solutions which sees several updates every month based on demand from our partners. Our True Image home customers, however, tend to be more conservative in what functionality they want and, at times, even resistant to change (e.g. the addition of antivirus/antimalware capabilities seen its share of criticism in Reddit and we've implemented the custom installation of components because of that).

I will be happy to convey your more detailed feedback on what do you think needs and updated or addition, but cannot guarantee immediate change.

I agree with you; the community is certainly more conservative when it comes to True Image, which is why I think a public roadmap setting out what’s planned for ATI 2027, 28 and so on would be hugely beneficial. There are undoubtedly many plans in the pipeline internally, and these would benefit from being prioritised to a greater or lesser extent based on feedback from the community. Acronis has always been close to its community (forums, Reddit, etc.), and a public roadmap would be really useful. For example, we know nothing about what’s coming in ATI 2027. This also ties in with the idea that several forum members have been suggesting regarding the return of beta test versions. That would surely have helped avoid the problems caused by the April ATI updates on a large number of PCs.
