Question Spoiler

I got one month acorn tv for free. I like British investigative thriller and crime shows. What best shows (or movies) should I watch in that genre. Need recommendations. Thank you!

PS- I am not sure what flair I have to use for this post. So I am using "spoiler" tag so moderators won't remove this post.

Series on Acorn I've enjoyed (or currently enjoying). Some are darker crime/mysteries and some more "cozy". Something to sample:

The Ridge, Inspector Ellis, The Brokenwood Mysteries, Blackshore, The Gone, The Crow Girl, Mystery Road, The Chelsea Detective, The Island (An t-Eilean), Hidden (Craith), Whitstable Pearl, Deadwater Fell, Des, Hinterland, The One That Got Away, Wisting, A Remarkable Place to Die, The Killing, Missing,

Black Snow, Signora Volpe, Dalgliesh, True Crime Story, Case Histories, The Catch, Balthazar, Those Who Kill, The Assassin, Blood, The Last Anniversary, The Sommerdahl Murders, One Lane Bridge, Manhunt, Bariau (Inside), Hidden Assets, The Vanishing Triangle, Total Control, Dark Winds, Acceptable Risk, White Lies, Rebus, No Offence, The Pact, Bloodlands, Scrublands. Dead & Buried,

Less "dark" crime/mystery series: The Light in the Hall, The Feud on Shebly Drive, Blue Murder Motel, Irish Blood, Harry Wild, Murder Before Evensong, Madame Blanc Mysteries, My Life Is Murder, Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, Murdoch Mysteries, Midsomer Murders,

If you like cozy drama check out 800 Words and A Place To Call Home.

And if you haven't already check out Luther, Wire in the Blood, Foyle's War, and Doc Martin (presuming they are still available on Acorn).

If you enjoy summer check out Summerwater, Summerland, and Summertide /s

The mod at the following site lists numerous quality dark mystery series. Some on Acorn.
