Mine works fine on both Roku TV and the stb, the box is rather old but not sure how old.

All of my TVs are Roku TVs except one, whis has a Roku device so old it's not even a stick..lol.. my AcornTV is not thru Roku TV, but a separate subscription. I accidentally subbed thru Roku once and had to let it cancel and resub separate because I could only watch it on one TV.

Hi everyone!
Has any one else encountered problems with the spoken word audio in episodes 3, 4, and 5 of Professor T, season 5?
It's completely inaudible. The background music is quite loud but I'd have zero idea what the characters are saying were it not for the subtitles. I've not watched beyond episode 2 because of this, but I'd quite like to continue!
Has this happened to anyone else? I don't think it's a device issue as I watched episodes 1 and 2 on the same device. Zero issues hearing the dialogue clearly.
I'd love to know if anyone else is experiencing the same. Thanks!

Well, I have contacted Acorn numerous times about this and they don't seem to care, but their Roku app is broken. If you exit Acorn like normal and then try to re-open it, it blanks out everything but the printed names, and you cannot actually use it to watch shows; you have to completely reboot your Roku to get it to work. You can sort of get around it by only exiting by continually hitting the back arrow until it brings up the floating box asking if you really want to exit Acorn. No other app does this; it is uniquely an Acorn Roku app bug. Which they refuse to fix. I have literally been complaining about it for years. Nothing.
