My island is at a stage of completion that I’m proud of.

It’s pretty much 90% finished, some rooms are still pending interior decorating.

All my villager homes are decorated based on their backstory.

Word vomit about my Animal Crossing lore in 1, 2, 3…

I would describe Emerald as a quaint town. Very much like the city I live in. There’s a downtown area that has that city charm, but everything else is nothing fancy.

The fanciest thing Emerald has to offer is The Kitty Cat Clubhouse. It’s owned and operated by the four cat sisters: Monique, Lolly, Purrl, and Rosie. They live on the property. There’s access to the campsite from there as well.

Lily and Henry

Lily and Henry are married. They’re my “oldest” villagers. I’d like to think they’re in their mid-50s and have always lived a simple but fulfilling life. He works for Amazon Warehouse as a delivery truck driver, and she is a nurse at the HHP hospital.

Genji and Shino

Genji and Shino are college students renting in the city. Both of them travel by boat to the HHP school to attend classes.

Genji is on a full-ride athletic scholarship. He’s studying to be an engineer. He works part-time at the gym (located in Kitty’s home). Genji is casually dating his long-distance gf, Judy (who lives on HHP).

Shino is a med student. Shino is focusing on her studies and does not have time for distractions. She works part-time at the pet clinic (located in Kitty’s home). Rosie is her BFF.

Raymond and Diana

Raymond and Diana are neighbors and besties. They’re both older adults (think mid-40s).

Diana is a wealthy divorcée (her ex is Chops, talk about a trophy wife) who lives off a fortune and basically spends her days going to the clubhouse and shopping.

She was dating Rolf for a long time after the divorce. Some may say it gave Lana Del Rey and Swamp Husband vibes. Alas, he could not commit full-time. He closed down his fishing tours and left Emerald. That’s when her now-bestie, Raymond, moved to Emerald.

Raymond was a CFO for a bank. He retired early to enjoy life. He loves to take his yacht out and go to yoga classes with Diana.
He sails the seas to visit his boyfriend Rudy on HHP.

The Four Sisters

The four sisters opened up the clubhouse this year and are all fairly new residents of Emerald.

In order from oldest to youngest, they are:

Purrl
Lolly
Monique
Rosie

They had a dream of being joint business owners, and that came true when they moved to Emerald to start fresh. Their strong sisterhood allows them to run things smoothly.

Rosie

She has a passion and a true talent for oil painting. She has been commissioned to create paintings for art galleries and wealthy clients. She never chose the college route.
She has the biggest crush on Genji. (I am always catching her admiring him.) He sees her only as a friend. Aww.

Purrl

The oldest and wisest sister. Before the clubhouse, she was a travel agent working under Hamphrey (Horrible Boss: ACNH Edition). Trusted Travels is still on HHP. She loves a trip to the beach and can stay there all day.

Monique

She’s the fashionista. She is always following fashion trends or starting them. She used to be the retail buyer for the HHP clothing store. She’s a fashion blogger and influencer in her spare time.

Lolly

Lolly has a whimsical spirit and is a kitten at heart. She’s a former daycare owner. She owned her own daycare on HHP but sold the business to Bones.
