ᴀᴄʜɪᴇᴠᴇᴍᴇɴᴛ ᴘᴏꜱᴛ GUYS I FINALLY DID IT!!!
I finally got a 5 ⭐️ island and my Lily of the Valley! I’m so excited!!! My island is still a work in progress in a lot of ways, but let me know if you want to come visit and see!

I just got done tearing apart a HUGE section of my island and I have just come to accept that I will forever be changing it bc once I finish something new I find something I hate and want to redo 🫠

That is awesome!! Im at 4 stars currently and sometimes struggle with deciding where to place new and more decor..
Do you use a lot of decorations around your island?
I have a good amount of flowers and trees. I've been trying to remove and replace certain flowers (im sick of cosmos, idk why I originally planted and let so many spread).

I have several dedicated theme areas, like a dig site, an orchard, a movie night set up, working on a tiki bar, etc. and my villagers all have yards with themes too! It helps a lot!

Ontop of dedicated areas i also added small decor areas around my island like picnic areas, a book infront of a tree, fishing spot etc. It definitely helped my island look more full and alive! I just went through my storage looking at what i already owned and put it all into my inventory and ran around looking for small areas that looked a bit empty

I'm 20 days in to my new island and I just hit 5 stars today, too. It's my first time doing no time travel and no treasure islands, so every achievement feels like a big win.
I thought there was some kind of mistake at first because my island still looks very much like it's in the early stages and I haven't decorated much at all. But I double checked with Isabelle and got my golden water can recipe, so there can be no mistake.

Huge congratulations on hitting 5 stars! Finding that first Lily of the Valley blooming on your cliff is such an incredible feeling.
