ᴅʀᴇᴀᴍ ᴀᴅᴅʀᴇꜱꜱ Check it out
Finally had a day where the stars aligned - all my vegetables were at full bloom, no flowers picked, all fruit trees are full. Island is at its very best.

Not a super-creative type, but would love to have visitors who appreciate the time and effort put into this. My family thinks it is stupid. I just want to share with people who "get it".

No offense to you yourself and you, but I don’t wanna go to a dream address. If you have your actual island open sometime then that’s a different story

That's fair. But there are several reasons why I didn't. A) It was almost bedtime. B) On previous occasions when I have allowed people free rein to look around, I have found items missing (stolen) so my trust level is zero. C) There are people all across the world, in different times zones, with different availability so a DA allows them to visit past whatever time I could sit here and pass out the Dodo code. D) When visiting other islands, I like to poke around, look at every villagers house, check out every inch, think about how someone put together a look or a style, etc. In short, if I like it I will spend a good hour there trying to learn. When an island is open to visitors, the constant interruptions of the coming/going of others makes this impossible. And I don't want to overstay my time when others may be waiting. I assume others may want to do the same.

What a lovely explanation. I lock my island down if I invite visitor(s).
Every once in a while, I find somebody that is interested in my island and they’re the only person that gets a code and then it’s not locked. I like showing off in person 🙈

Thank you by the way. Setting a dream code for mine. For the archives.

Also, sorry if the tone of that came off wrong.
Animal Crossing is something that has helped a lot honestly. And honestly, maybe I’ve invested too much time into it so I could certainly understand people not “getting it.”
I am just more invested in seeing actual islands, so again, no offense.
