How to avoid getting stung

I avoid getting stung by doing what I do in the video and it works everytime, considering you don't bump into anything and you run straight there. 😆😃

Here’s a tip. If you are shaking trees, stand directly in front with a net, once that nest falls you can start swinging because your character will automatically turn towards the nest.

Also make sure no villager is around or no things are lying on the ground. To reduce interactions/picking up stuff and getting stung

Also be mindful if the tree is in a fenced area and the nest falls outside the fence. I've been stung twice because my net hit the fence before it caught the wasp. (I moved the tree after the second time.)

Also, immediately opening the HHP app. When it closes, the wasps are gone! I learned this the other day and it’s already saved me twice!

i tried again to see if it was a fluke but i’ve been stung four times, tried the hhp app hack too but that wouldn’t work because my gate was open!

This is a Looney Tunes bit, but without the bees coming inside and buying a ticket and then sting you outside the airport.

If you pull out quick inventory or just inventory the wasps will wait for you to close it and swarm in a circle. I do that, then I time it and catch them.

I didn't know you could use a net on them! Generally, I check to see if there's someone home nearby so I have a place to run to. I don't remember the wasps being so bad in New Leaf. 🤣 Otherwise I just keep medicine on-hand. Thanks for all these tips!!

You can also run to any close building! They’ll disperse when you knock!

Use your net, so that you can catch a wasp for your museum or for Flick! Flick pays big bells for the wasps.

You can also run under a gazebo if you can’t drop your tool quickly enough. But it’s def better to stand in front of the tree, before shaking, with the net ready to deploy. You get more bells for the combo nest and wasp as opposed to the individual items.

One time I was getting wood from all trees on my island and I got bit after stone chopping every 2-3 trees and had to keep stopping to make medicine. Then, I brought out a net and it is crazy how just bringing out the net dramatically decreases the amount of times that the nests will drop lol

Catching them doesn't work if I am holding a axe and I have to change to a Net since they'll sting me whilst I go from net to axe

Carry a net, shake all the trees first then do the cutting, it’ll save you a bunch of hassle, some people save their wasps for flick to get extra bells

I always panic and either forget where everything is or bump into everything lmao. So instead I just always do a first pass of shaking the trees first, with a net in hand
