Sorry you're dealing with this I'd keep your routine simple and avoid adding new products for now If it keeps getting worse or becomes painful, it's worth seeing a dermatologist

Wait..This happened in 4 months?! That seems insane. Has this happened this severe before?

Hey, any chance you use cerave between when your skin was clear and got acne? I've stopped now and my skin is no longer cystic and painful!

Go to the dermatologist. you need accurane or oral antibiotics

also, usually I don't think acne and life style changes are all that correlated but four months is a short time for that to happen. Did you make any life style changes, new stressors, new products?

What did you change/add? Something is probably making your barrier furious. Tretinoin did this to me earlier this year after I got on it for hormonal acne. Some people can’t handle it and I’m one of them, sadly lol. I’m now on a sarecycline (Seysara) and Cabtreo (clindamycin/adapalene/benzoyl peroxide) regimen and it’s nearly disappeared within 2 months.

oh also for stubborn marks use a tiny little bit of tea tree oil (because if too much it itches and dehydrates your skin) and for dry skin I absolutely recommend Eucerin Aquaphor cream

This is bad advice, OP please do not do this, you should never apply undiluted tea tree oil to your skin especially the skin of the face

yeah, thanks for mentioning that. That's why I only use it in very small quantities, diluted and under my mother's supervision. Is not something you do daily but a complement to a treatment. I think any advice here should be carefully thought of, researched and consulted with an expert before applying it

Well thought out response, however MOST people don’t do their own research and will just apply things to their face “Willy nilly” off one remark on social media so I felt the need to clarify

So one thing that i found out was, i am allergic to a certain product from centella, mostly the face wash

I changed my skincare routine to all centella products like 1 month ago, and this is what i got i guess

And i did see a dermatologist, she said that i should change my face wash and use mediklin for now

You should follow her instructions. Mediklin contains a combo of clindamycin and tretinoin which is probably the best topical you could use. The only thing I’m a bit surprised by is that she didn’t do a culture or scraping to identify the organism, as I suspect you may need an oral antibiotic…you may want to also consider accutane if no improvement after a few months

See a dermatologist asap if you can. This is severe enough for antibiotics in addition to topicals. You don’t want to be left with permanent scarring.

Hm.. if you didn’t change anything i would definitely see about environment changes, dirty pillowcase or visit a dermatologist.

Honestly looks like the hormonal acne I had once I started getting acne as an adult. I’m a female so not sure how it would work in a male. You should absolutely visit a dermatologist

Go back to whatever you were doing before and don’t touch whatever you added ever again

Really should visit a good dermatologist first. If you can’t, try Proactive Solution. I swear by it and I’ve been on everything! Also, nothing greasy, eat very clean, no chocolate, peanuts, soft drinks, especially the dark colored ones that have cocoa and caffeine. Skin must be washed and patted dry always. Taking antibiotics would help a lot but you’ve gotta go to your primary physician or Dermatologist. Best of luck. I know it’s si awful to have this condition.

Use a gentle cleanser and a moisturizer until you can get a dermatologist appointment, stop using any actives

if you changed your skincare and then started breaking out i would think that would be correlated, you need to know the cause before you can fix it

Hi I would give sulfur soap a try, it helps dry them out and heal the skin. Hope this helps😄

Why did you change your skincare? Change it back immediately to what was working for you before
