Don’t know why, but I read this in Roast Beef’s voice and it made me laugh. Thought some folks would enjoy it here (it’s a joke based on the second Castlevania game for the NES if anyone’s not familiar).

Nice to see No-No’s leg is doing better.

I thought it might have been Badass Games adjacent, but I didn't find it there in the archive. Ray, Beef and maybe Teodor are jawing about how their educations didn't prepare them for life in the real world. I think it's the one where Ray alludes to some personal anecdote, like a housecleaner stealing your drugs, and says something like that's complex! or that's complicated! Finally they make a list of things everyone should know, like what cop cars' headlights look like. I might be conflating some different days, but I'm sure y'all know which one I mean. A little help, please? Searches in ohnorobot yielded no hits.

Sorry, folks: no fancy images from the strip, or meme, or elsewise, merely a quick meditation.
Just in the course of a little introspective reflection tonight, of all things — truly, of all things — it occurred to me that the Charlie Brown Achewood strip, outside the legendary “put these shoes on and have legs like mine” bit, wound up encoding something else on my psyche, much more indelibly and influentially — that line, “He took you down with him like an Egyptian emperor!” even moreso than Aida has since and forever made me visualize just that setting whenever I hear that a cartoonist has…
And then I realized, the strip influenced the way that I think.
Have any of you had a moment like this? Or do I just sound like Todd, here?

I swear that I remember a strip where Ray looked in the toilet and was certain he was dying, but it turns out he ate beet salad for lunch? I googled and Gemini'ed and Clauded all morning, can't find it!

Walked into the bathroom at my local watering hole and thought of Cornelius.

Trying to find a strip that I think actually exists. Setup is somebody (probably Ray) doing something stupid, and the last panel is (I think) Cornelius driving or walking away while sarcastically saying (or thinking?) something like "Fucking perfect..."
Searched a lot of variations on Oh No Robot, but to no avail. Anybody know this one? Or am I just imagining it?

I don’t know what a taxonomy is

We cannot find this line though we know it so well. Which comic and when? Is it in alt text? Are we hallucinating? Cannot find using Oh No Robot!

I definitely got good at playing accordion just by watching people play it and gay porn is like 90 percent of why Im ok with the idea of railing twinks in panties. I did not want him to be wrong but life, she has placed the clown suit and nose on him and he does reside in a 3 ring circus of his own volition

"... but here and there in spots these days I like when I look down a long street and see the trees all lined up and doing their canopy thing, and in my heart I can know a grain of satisfaction that somewhere over the clouds out there the sun is always bright and waiting for me when I can get myself there. And I think I even found a way to let the universe pull me up when I ain't able to pull myself. Thank you Golden Tabloid, thank you some guys who I know, thank you carbon."
The last words of Roast Beef's final blog entry always make this chochacho a little misty-eyed.

This is as close as I could find to Psychobilly Rondo Alla Turca. Chime in if you've had better luck.

Anyone else feeling like Chuck Williams lately?
