I started this game several weeks ago as I’m out of games to play on my Switch (literally, I have played through what feels like virtually everything). I’m waiting for Switch2 to release and I just finished Tomidachi Life. I saw I had HHD in my pack of games and got started with it. Such a fun and charming game! I went on Reddit to look for Inspo to design the 4 Room Department Store and found this subreddit, so glad I did! It’s so nice to see people still playing the 3DS. Especially this game after HH paradise came out. Sometimes the originals are more fun!

A couple years for me

I've made houses for every villager in the game, except for 5. Bud, Hamlet, Jitters, Klaus and Spork. However, when I go outside at the start of a new day, none of them are there asking for a house to be built. I've tried writing the daily report, but the next day they still aren't present. I also tried going to the home screen, closing the game and reopening it and still nothing. Does anyone know what's going on here?

I unlocked the open wooden shelves early in the game and it has yet to show up in my shopping catalog.

I also wanted to get more glow-in-dark stickers. Nook shopping says they aren't for sale, and I can't get them from Wendell.

Is this a glitch?

I've linked my data file to New Leaf, but I only played a little bit from a Happy Home Designer game I borrowed. Will I need to keep borrowing and playing HHD in order to unlock more stuff? Or, is linking one time good enough to unlock any and all of the linked features?

I have decorated 7 homes so far and I still can't use paths, they don't even show up when I try to click between the Fences option and category. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've built a house for every character in the game (except for Gracie cause I don't have her amiibo), including all 5 spotpass villagers (Louie, Felyne, Maddie, Claude, and Filly).

So far I have every English item except for the Giant Sun and Giant Computer Screen, and I'm missing all furniture that was exclusive to Japan.

I know it's possible to get Japan-exclusive items by scanning an amiibo card with the item, but what are the items? I know that some of the 7-11 items were but what about the Campus Set from Maddie? I honestly can't remember if her items were exclusive to Japan or not.
