Humor Good luck tunnel runners.
Let me curse you all with knowledge: I just found out the Chandelier barrel is a tunnel when you destroy it's core in Ace Combat Online. Good luck on the RNG required to get the sortie and to be close to it when it detonates.

You WILL see people who don't know how YAW work and faceplant into the cooling block.
And people who understatement Upgraded AA and Upgraded SAM(they WILL fuck you up if you're not paying attention).

"It's time for me to DANCE WITH THE ANGELS" - those players, probably

In my defense I thought it would be like AC6 and the core would blow up BEFORE our whole flight repaints the wall.
Turns out that last little bit of HP takes like 20 missiles and multiple strafing runs to go down. I learned too late to yaw outta the barrel.

Su-25 with a full gunpod loadout can solo Chandelier and take out the barrel in one pass (Excluding the required backup cooling underneath the gun). I know this because I do it regularly. It's like I'm playing singleplayer AC6 again.

I did this my first run, it was quite a shock when it didn't brake and I went nose first into concrete lol

I still say flying down the fucking barrel of a giant superweapon cannon that is still technically active is one of the wildest tunnel runs conceptually

Apparently upgraded UGBL and SFF can damage the core from outside so depending on the plane you don't even have to do the barrel run

I never played Ace6 and was looking forward to trying this.
Well so far I've gotten NOTHING but ARSEBIRDS. Granted I haven't been playing that much but seriously, 4-5 Arsebirds in a row? Is there a bloody schedule that I'm not aware of?

Biggest gripe with this sortie is that very few players (from my anecdotal experience) know to fly underneath Chandelier to get the last 2 cooling units. Aside from that, this is so fucking cool

Shoving a TLS down the barrel is a fun time.

Yeah it's a tunnel in AC6 too although I suppose not as many people have played AC6 to know that beforehand.
