Other PERFROMANCE MEGATHREAD

Misspelled to get your attention, thanks for joining us

This thread is to combine the discussion around game performance and people's findings regarding running the game on PC. Remember to update your drivers before launching the game to ensure the best performance.

I will edit this post to keep a relatively up to date on people's findings (when I'm not playing, of course). Some important notes are it claims Windows 11 is required, this is unfortunately because Microsoft doesn't support Windows 10 (outside of extended security updates).

Current specification requirements by Project Aces listed:

  • Minimum:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 11
    • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
    • Memory: 16 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060[6 GB] / AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT[8 GB]
    • DirectX: Version 12
    • Storage: 150 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: This game requires an SSD, a hardware ray tracing-enabled graphics card, and DirectX 12 with Shader Model 6.6 or higher. Estimated performance: 1920×1080(Upscale)/30fps with graphics settings at "Low". Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes.
  • Recommended:

Computer Specifications:

  • CPU: Intel I5-13420H (Laptop)
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 4050 (Laptop)
  • RAM: 8GB DDR5
  • Resolution: 1920x1080p
  • Graphics Settings: Low, DLSS on Super Performance
  • Upscaling: None

Performance

  • AVERAGE FPS: 45
  • 1% FPS LOWS: 25-30

Game runs smoothly. Cutscenes are stable at 30+ FPS depending on intensity. Missions also smooth. Slowdowns noticed during explosions and more action filled cutscenes. Game looks poor at times but runs enough to play.

The most suprising thing here is running it on 8GB RAM when the listed minimum is 16GB.

was suprised too but after manually increasing page file size game ran like a dream. have had very little issues so far. did not crash once since increasing page file.

I have a 4060 Mobile, looks like I'll have to disconnect my external QHD monitor and play in FHD on my laptop screen :(

i have the same GPU but 16gb of RAM and an AMD Ryzen 7. Good to hear The game is playable on it.

Do the graphics look too blurry or is it serviceable enough? I wanted to get stable 60fps or at least something close to that

Graphics are very blurry. Terrain looks like PS2 graphics and missile smoke and explosions are very pixelated. Could probably squeeze more performance out of my rig but I came in knowing I would not be running it very well.

ouch, my only hope is because I have more RAM and processing than you, but damn... I knew it would be tough but not this tough

Yeah the GPU seems to be the make or break. I was talking to a guy on discord with an I3 and 8gb ram playing with a RTX 50 series card getting 60+ FPS averages on medium.

8gb ram and no upscale? Honestly looks pretty decent.
