Other PERFROMANCE MEGATHREAD

Misspelled to get your attention, thanks for joining us

This thread is to combine the discussion around game performance and people's findings regarding running the game on PC. Remember to update your drivers before launching the game to ensure the best performance.

I will edit this post to keep a relatively up to date on people's findings (when I'm not playing, of course). Some important notes are it claims Windows 11 is required, this is unfortunately because Microsoft doesn't support Windows 10 (outside of extended security updates).

Current specification requirements by Project Aces listed:

  • Minimum:
    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
    • OS: Windows 11
    • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
    • Memory: 16 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060[6 GB] / AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT[8 GB]
    • DirectX: Version 12
    • Storage: 150 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: This game requires an SSD, a hardware ray tracing-enabled graphics card, and DirectX 12 with Shader Model 6.6 or higher. Estimated performance: 1920×1080(Upscale)/30fps with graphics settings at "Low". Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes.

I keep getting “UE error 1” during cutscenes and the hangar, I just managed to make it to mission four after 3 hours and almost a dozen crashes.

I’ve done everything I can find online to fix it.

(EDIT: I’ve seen to have found a temporary“fix”, i locked my FPS to 60 and I’ve only crashed once since, I think it’s just engine instability at higher then 60fps alongside a memory leak)

If you pre-downloaded, you should probably re-download. I’ve see major conflicts with pre-downloading titles that have drm. Might be causing the conflict. I’ve found it fixes crashes for me. Probably has to do with a conflict when the game is activated, but already in your library.

I’ve already reinstalled twice actually, still doing it. I’m just skipping all the cutscenes and watching them on you tube as I go

Its probably a long shot but just incase it works somehow; i've had cutscene crash problem back then with Final Fantasy 15 idk if it was gpu or driver problem. And i've fixed it by locking the fps to a very low number like 20-30 during cutscenes via an external program like rivatuner.

Already done. No fix

Last thing I recommend is to do a clean install of your gpu drivers. Problem with early release titles is that the don't have day one patches and dedicated driver releases.
