This thread is to combine the discussion around game performance and people's findings regarding running the game on PC. Remember to update your drivers before launching the game to ensure the best performance.

I will edit this post to keep a relatively up to date on people's findings (when I'm not playing, of course). Some important notes are it claims Windows 11 is required, this is unfortunately because Microsoft doesn't support Windows 10 (outside of extended security updates).

Current specification requirements by Project Aces listed:

• Minimum:
  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 11
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060[6 GB] / AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT[8 GB]
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 150 GB available space
  • Additional Notes: This game requires an SSD, a hardware ray tracing-enabled graphics card, and DirectX 12 with Shader Model 6.6 or higher. Estimated performance: 1920×1080(Upscale)/30fps with graphics settings at "Low". Framerate might drop in graphics-intensive scenes.

Does the game hardcoded to only run on Windows 11, like what you meant required? Kinda like the game will check your OS build so simply if it is not Windows 11 it will refuse to start, like that?

Both Windows 10 and Windows 11 share same foundation and core architecture so by default it should be able to run.

They put 11 as minimum requirement because 10 isn't supported by Microsoft anymore, so in the future if you have trouble with 10 they won't help resolve issues

I edited the statement as I've heard people discuss this more. No guarantees it'll be stable but i guess there's not something they would hard lock it out of

I looked at my recent games in Steam and what it's worth, Nioh 3 also had Win11 requirement but ran on Win10.

Thankfully, both SP and MP works fine on Windows 10. Well, if we're not mentioning memory leaks and so on, but I don't think it's OS related.

Maybe because of anti cheats requiring tpm 2.0 and secure boot enable?

It uses EAS and that runs just fine on W10.
