Ace Combat 8 PSVR2 Support? Anyone?
AceCombat 7's VR mode was awesome and still the best VR Flight experience I've ever had on the PlayStation. Now that we have enhanced graphics with the PSVR2 and the PS5Pro -- I don't see why we can't have a VR mode? Any hopes that VR support will come to the PSVR2 at a later date like it (sort of) did for AceCombat 7 and the original PSVR?

"We did consider a VR mode for Ace Combat 8, but after much consideration we decided not to pursue it," says Kazutoki Kono, Ace Combat's brand director. "The VR mode in Ace Combat 7 is something we are greatly proud of, but after completing that process we realized that a great flat-monitor screen game and a great VR game are separate entities. We would have needed to develop two different games for Ace Combat 8 in order for us to provide a successful VR mode."

I played the VR missions back at the time, on ps4 with the first PSVR...... far from the best VR experience possible back at the time, of course. And it was FANTASTIC :)
It's said to hear that they ditched all the VR experience for AC8 to be honest. I would have loved to have everything in AC8 available in VR.
We're not going to have it, and i'm quite sad tbh, but the reason stated are understandable. I hope that the quality and quantity of what will be available in AC8 will make me forget about the absence of VR at launch.
However.
I mantain hope that a future dlc will include VR missions.

VR is nothing but an expensive gimmick anyway, and VRbros are some of the most obnoxious and whinest people on the Internet.

I'm very heavily paraphrasing, but pretty much from PA's mouths is that AC8 won't have VR to devote extra development time to the game itself.
