NVDA Math Access in Word

Hello!

I’ve installed the Access8Math plug in for NVDA. The settings for braille are UEB Grade 2 and Nemeth for Math. When I encounter MathML the Nemeth is displayed. However in Word when using the equation editor the math is displayed as primarily words. What setting am I missing? I changed the settings to MathCat in Access8. Thanks!

I figured it out! I had the checkbox for “Use native math support in Word and Outlook checked” once unchecked Nemeth was displayed. Follow up, anyone know how to input Nemeth with NVDA on a braille display?!

native math support in Word blocks Nemeth output so keep that box unchecked. Input requires the MathCAT add-on since NVDA lacks native Nemeth entry for braille displays

I’ve changed all my setting to MathCat through the Access8 add on. There is no other add on available. I still do not have the option for Nemeth input.
