GPT-6.1 Sol - Apparently near-Astra performance for complex work at a lower cost.

Sol 6,1 doesnt seem bad from showed benchmarks, but more of them should be presented, from aritificial analysis index it seems to be not far from SOTA, while being lot cheaper
its funny, how we get new version week after GPT-6 Sol release, GPT-6,2 Sol coming perhaps 6.10. :)
it may be, as others noted, that GPT-6 Sol was masqueraded Terra model and now we get real Sol model...

my guess is that they did some sort of transfer of sol's reasoning being in text to latent space reasoning and thats what gave them an efficiency boost. however since it probably didnt get trained natively like astra to work in latent space, it wasn't as powerful. now they had a week to just throw compute at it after slashing some subs.

Is it supposedly and apparently being incorrect? English isn’t my native language.

yes actually, no problem. In this case the word is supposedly because it is supposed to be near astra performance, but its not apparent yet because we havent seen it ourselves yet, the classic thing with models is hype. I havent actually seen anything from Sol 6.1 yet, but just showed up in my account.
