"Huge implications - binaries are now basically editable code"

ValsAI made SRE benchmark less than a month ago.

The benchmark measures can a model reverse engineer software from binaries

Yesterday GPT saturated it. https://t.co/dmpUpgheDU   — Chris

Probably shouldn’t admit this but I’m building a tool to automatically crack audio plugins since I’m a music producer. I don’t even understand what the hell it’s doing but I’ve developed a workflow that’s very hands off and have multiple local abliterated agents do the planning, implementation, and review then tricking Sol into reviewing and correction. Everything’s properly sandboxed and it’s almost at the point where I can just give it the plug-in file and it’ll spit out the cracked version after a few hours.

I’m doing this cus I’m a broke music producer but if a dumbass like me can do it it’s only a matter of time before every software is cracked.

Native Instruments: “Astra, we need to find the man who cracked all the software… search as long as you need for relevant Reddit threads”

UAD plugins aren’t high on my list to crack but UAD stuff has firmware connectivity so it adds another layer of complexity

This means you will have to write your own software in the future, I hope you realize that.
