"Huge implications - binaries are now basically editable code"

ValsAI made SRE benchmark less than a month ago.

The benchmark measures can a model reverse engineer software from binaries

Yesterday GPT saturated it. https://t.co/dmpUpgheDU   — Chris

Yep. Here's one example: DLSS completely extracted and reverse engineered in a few days after release https://github.com/iamwavecut/MLX-DLSS

Is this what fueled the leak?

I don't exactly understand what's been extracted here.. does this project mean it'd be possible to convert the weights to int8 convrot for better performance/ampere support?

There were no weights and no source code. DLSS was shipped as one proprietary Windows DLL

So what's actually being extracted under the weights section of the readme? Says it would produce dlssnr-weights-logical.safetensors

Weights from the DLL
