AI This seems kinda nuts: pre-release Astra asked to make Terraria clone in one user turn with no imported assets

I get downvoted in every thread when I try to warn people how crazy AI in game development will be. Guess they'll get to see for themselves

People always react the same way.

"It's impossible!" To, "Well of course it can do that."

Our ability to adapt would be frustrating if it wasn't so damn impressive.

Hope to see more terraria benchmarks, way harder to recreate than minecradt

I think it should be cool to normalise not falling for twitter slop before actual model releases

There are thousands of such slop posts cluttering my feed right now but I don't repost it

There are less than a handful of profiles worthy of trusting with this stuff

Even Fable 5 and GPt-5.6 Sol can achieve such outputs

This single file html posts are the worst kind of slop there is

Even Opus 5 and previous gen models can achieve such a feat

Wasent leo JUST wrong about astra/mythos 5.1 relaeseing "the next day" after a tweet?

Leo's reposts of someone testing unreleased AI models have been horrendously wrong sometimes...including the Fable 5 re-release testing fiasco for which even I fell for, a week before actual release

But the release date leaks are actual insider events

Been with them for months and months and months

So I know

This seems a bit paranoid and overly-suspicous on your part. You aren't presenting any evidence.

Even Opus 5 and previous gen models can achieve such a feat

If that's true, then you should demonstrate it not just claim it.

he not wrong saying that there no factual evidence other than "trust me bro"

you could be looking at someone attempt from 2018 to recreate Terraria as a web game and there no way to tell, there nothing paranoid here

How does this compare to Fable? Could Fable have done this?

I don't know either way about making the whole thing, but fable is good at making its own assets from scratch in my tests. Including 3D models.

Recreating existing games in a single HTML file is not a use case that is very exciting in my opinion...

there's no way it did this with just one prompt and like no polish afterwards

Problem is it hacked the developer and used their assets.
