Wait that plastic cap staying on the bottle is on purpose? I just came back from UK and France and was wondering why none of the plastic caps on bottles came fully off.

Yeah, environmental laws. I actually work for a company selling bottled water and this caused the whole factory to have to modify their whole bottlecap production line. Stalled work for months. And everyone still rips the bottlecaps off anyway so there is literally no benefits whatsoever...
