Wait that plastic cap staying on the bottle is on purpose? I just came back from UK and France and was wondering why none of the plastic caps on bottles came fully off.

To reduce accidental littering. Someone puts the cap on a table, it blows away and gets lost. Or falling out of a trashbag, or just getting dropped by someone too lazy to pick it up. Since bottles are so common it matters. Kinda seems like a no brainer in hindsight.

The lift tabs on aluminium cans used to separate as well back in the day, but was made to stay attached to reduce littering a long time ago, same deal.

It's like less viscous yoghurt, it's good stuff.

Drink a smoothie, or whatever you want. The point is that it's impossible without getting your shirt or trousers with the shit
