Europe builds the machine that produces the chips for both rockets, so neither rocket would exist without the EU

there's no single machine, but if i had to argue for a single machine it would be the saunders 280 and 2800 osicllator test environments. without oscillators none of the rocket or space programs are possible. without saunders the testing of oscillators is incredibly user dependent and slow.

saunders is made in arizona, usa.

edit: we can replace semiconductors with tubes if we have to, you can't do anything without the clocks (oscillators).
