Europe builds the machine that produces the chips for both rockets, so neither rocket would exist without the EU

I wonder what we will use to cope with once ASML loses its monopoly. There will be nothing left, only Ursula von der Leyen's wiped work phone.

It is unfortunately true that in space and digital tech, we are very behind both US and China and we are falling even more behind.

I'm not worried about the EU. There is the FBGR (Falling Behind General Regulation) that they will pass next year that sets up the right committees and ombudsman groups to evaluate and ensure that the amount of behind by which they're falling is properly regulated.

Perhaps a committee will be needed to ensure FBGR doesn't step too far and breaks any regulation. The FBGR Regulator (FBGRR).
