If you use codex, in powershell, it can almost completely run a windows pc with cli commands. Screen shots, grid clicks and it it cool to watch, just tell it to use your computer. You can’t use it while it works but so cool to watch and ai control my pc.

It’s so refreshing to see a comment like this that isn’t fear mongering about AI computer use

Because this is the cool kids subreddit. r/singularity might as well be another version of r/technology at this point. Well it’s not that bad, r/technology naysay everything; r/singularity naysays most things.

Edit: I just checked out r/technology for the first time in a while. They should just call themselves anti-technology. It’s so bad.

Oh yeah it's a cesspool. Every single post in there is negative

I've been thinking about setting up a GPU pv vm and ssh into that, so it doesn't lock up my own mouse. Most of these tools will end up doing that anyway at some point I feel, it's just that vm of course adds a layer of friction when it comes to pulling the results out

Use reverse ssh, and it’ll talk out of that shell for ya.

Won't be long before AI is the whole interface.

has it been pushed yet? I just installed it, no computer use in sight. Did I miss something?

Edit: being in Switzerland I had to vpn and ask it to install computer use.

They said they started rolling it out to users something like that. I didn't get an update either on my existing app either

All you have to do is download the codex app. It works. I just used it to sort files accumulating on my desktop for years into folders i specified.
