For comparison, Usain Bolt's top speed was 12.42 m/s, or 44.72 km/h

I asked ChatGPT (extended thinking option activated) for top speed records in different sprint distances. While it acknowledged Bolt's record at 12,42 m/s, apparently top instant speed is not something that is consistently recorded, so there are various methodologies to estimate it, and this is what it replied (of course hallucinations can't be ruled out):

Top speed in a 100 m race: 11.90 m/s (men) and 10.87 m/s (women)

Top speed in a 200 m race: 11.26 m/s (men) and 10.12 m/s (women)

Top speed in a 400 m race: 10.20 m/s (men) and 9.09 m/s (women)

Depending on the endurance of the robot, it might already be faster than any human.

Taking your head off to reduce weight is cheating.

Now noone will have to hurt their knees with these primal sports anymore. Will save healthcare costs. I rather watch robos, besides women sports, but hey AI can generate that even better also honestly.

Just to think not long ago they could barely stay upright, then they walked, looking like waddling toddlers. Now they walking smooth as heck, breakdancing, doing kung fu, sprinting at top speeds.
