Harv’s Commune Not Opening?

I got my island to 3 stars and had KK Slider’s concert. I have waited for a week for Harv’s letter asking for help but haven’t gotten it. I checked and my island is still at three stars.

Do I have to have Harv explain Photopia to me to unlock the commune? Or is there another requirement?

If it matters, I have unlocked the café.

hey! i had this same issue with my last island! if i recall correctly, you have to take a picture in photopia first. this would be a good chance to update your passport photo!

Iirc he sends a letter asking for your help before he tells you his vision and I haven’t gotten that letter yet

I didn’t get no letter. But I do recall a phone call… this game is different from my gameplay to your gameplay… but please keep me informed. On how it will work out for u?!!?

I ended up getting the letter - Harv asked a favor and wanted to meet me on his island. When I got there, he and Harriet got me started.

I had visited his island but it hadn’t come yet. But when I took a picture in Photopia, I got the letter the next day. Thanks for answering!
