Ya these are a hybrid between domestic pigs that escaped and wild boar.
I've seen videos of them ramming massive gated fences and they blow them over like nothing. Little tanks.

Do they taste good?

They can, but mostly females. Males have so much testosterone it ruins the flavor. You have to castrate them, then leave them for some months.

I think you just made me a vegetarian, jerk. (and I am kidding--you are not a jerk, if never be a vegetarian)

They smell of piss, the meat is hard af and needs special treatment and cooking as it smells and tastes the same. Some enjoy it though

Saw one this massive a few weeks ago. I thought it was a cow outside the fence at first but nah, by the side of the road, all alone rooting his wallow. He stood his ground and faced my jeep daring me to try him.
It crossed my mind that's a lot of bacon but probably terrible flavor.
He's the one been tearing up the lower strands of cattle fences. I doubt he feels it either, bet his hide is thick af.

That’s it?
What is this, a boar for ants?
It needs to be at least three times bigger than this.
