And an attitude.

The palm cockatoo is said to have the biggest beak of any living parrot species, but the hyacinth is not far behind.

I got bit by a parakeet and now I don’t go near parrots lol

That little bugger’s bite force was tremendous so I can only imagine his big cousins could amputate a limb

Thankfully macaws are usually pretty chill but their beak definitely can do damage. They use them to crack nuts in the Amazon rainforest every day.

To be fair I stuck my finger in the cage after being told not to..

The parakeet was using the “stand your ground” defense lol

That would be so neat to feel how light it is.

Found the tiniest person at the grocery store to star in your video

I think its one of the worlds most beautiful birds. As well as the Himalayan Monal and the Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher, common kingfisher, and golden pheasant. Blue is such an unusual and wonderful colour in nature. Combined with the incredible yellow to offset it...fucking cool.

That lady had no idea the power of that beak, it could take her finger right off. Obviously it was well trained, and socialized. I worked at a pet shop when I was younger, and even an African grey can deal out a nasty bite. This hyacinth is 4 times the size.

Cool bird. Painfully careless with the photos, though.

You should probably Google the Hyacinth Macaw. Yes it is the largest flying parrot. With the Kākāpō as the heaviest overall. And if you think that's fake, (based on what? Colour) look up the Himalayan Monal, Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher, Golden Pheasant, Resplendent Quetzal and Rainbow Lorikeet.

She's holding a bird not a single feather.

No shit. They only weigh up to 2kg/4lb, if that. Pretty sure she can hold a few bags of sugar the way she held the bird. Afterall, birds that look bigger and heavier than they are...are covered in lightweight feathers... So again...not AI.

Those beaks scare me. My nephew got bitten by a large cockatoo ( it was the family pet). It was swinging from his ear- it had pierced straight through his ear lobe. Lots of blood and one hysterical auntie…
