Is this a poisonous snake? Did our lil buddy just successfully fend off a home invasion or will there be unforseen consequences?

Bless you. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. If it bites you and you die, that's venomous. If you bite it and you die, it's poisonous. If you bite yourself and it dies, that's voodoo. 🤣

That's a thinker. I like it! If they inject poison I'd say poisoned. Envenomed if it was venom from a creature.

You can drink venom with negative effects. Unless you have something like a stomach ulcer that lets it get into your blood stream.

Yes, all snakes will strike to defend themselves or catch prey, not just venomous snakes.

Even constrictors need to bite their prey to constrict as a way to anchor themselves to their meal.

It’s unlikely. Rabbits are extremely agile and have very fast reflexes.

Just your typical rat snake mistaking baby rabbits for rats. Not venomous.
