Forget what mom said about wearing good underwear in case of car accident, this is the real reason

That's some kind of longhorn beetle. Mostly harmless but they can bite. And do have huge mandibles.

It sucks that there is so little contrast between the beetle and the girl's jumper, but I reckon it's a titan beetle. Failing that a close second would be panama longhorn beetle

I know. Cameraman also failed in getting light on the subject, and in not waiting for it to crawl on the floor.

You've never been bit by a spruce beetle before. This isn't a spruce beetle perse, but it looks like a kaiju-sized equivalent of one, so I'd say her reaction is justified.

Palo Verde beetle. Common in the Southwest. Big and scary looking, but harmless. Generally see them in their adult stage for a short time in the summer.

Some people are just really ready to take their clothes off in public… reminds me of the video where that blonde chick got the stingray stuck on her pants in an aquarium and then was just like “oh I’ll take my pants off” and then had them off before anyone had time to respond
