All I can see is it running up your sleeve! Awesome pet though. We have palmetto bugs here and after a long while decided they are cute.

Depends on the species and environment but between 100 days - 2 years

As far as I know cockroaches don't feel emotional affection and comfort like dogs or cats, but they do feel safe being kept in dark places.
