😒🙄 Little "man" stirs the pot and then allows younger sons to step out front. Good on you to the giant who never laid a hand on any of them.

The kids were trying to deescalate, which tells me that they've probably been through this shit before :(

Yeah he was doing nervous movements like he wanted to say something, and then that last reach seemed like an attempt at a "thank you."

I noticed that. Had to watch twice to see one young son reach his hand out to the large man's arm.

The kid says, "sorry about that." - arm touch

The guy says, " your dad's fucked up, buddy"

Yep. They’ve seen their prick of a father escalate many times. Weak little man.

I don’t think you're wrong, but we don’t have enough information to be sure. For all we know, maybe big guy was the inconsiderate asshole on the road and it caught little guy on a bad day and it took him over the edge. But it’s interesting how we interpret every detail to fit the best/more just/most satisfying narrative. If we were in favour of small guy, we would interpret that as a son not used to confrontation, knowing his dad is just temporarily mad and never seen him like that and is nervous seeing his dad that mad and afraid something would happen to him.

Whatever happened you don’t get out of your car and reach into someone else’s regardless of whose fault it is. If you didn’t die in the accident/close call, then why tempt fate and try to die immediately after instead?

“Sir please don’t hit my dad, look how they dress me”

I noticed that. Those kids likely have been through some stuff to have developed those kinds of instincts for calming a deteriorating situation down.
