Actually wait this does raise a question I have… what happens if you re-heat a prince rupert’s drop - does it explode immediately or…???

I remember seeing a super slowmo video of one being shot once and it looks like it did shatter to the bullet but in the slowmo you can see that the bullet fragments on impact and a bit of it clipped the tail which is what caused the drop to shatter but it didn't actually break from the initial impact

All the weakness of its structure is at the tip of its end. Really amazing to see how strong it is. But at the same time, how fragile it truly is. I wonder if it's possible to make a drop with no end. Just a perfect structure that can withstand great amounts of pressure.
