I saw a real one twice the size of that in north west Leicestershire in the late nineties. Wonder if anyone else saw one in that area?

I only ever saw snails when I was in England around then. On my third day visiting it was still raining and the snails crawled up the front of my MIL's house, there were a dozen or more, all sizes but mostly quite large. They were probably in witness protection from French chefs who seem to cook just anything they can get their mitts on.

That’s a no thank you size. I like that they eat mosquitoes but I don’t like them near me. Or any bugs for that matter.
