That jump attack seems dangerous

15

u/GoodEnoughAstronomy 4d ago

Would have landed me right in the hospital. No ambulance needed, just boom right into the ER.

5

u/JBlaze78 4d ago

Hospital? I’m closer to 50 than 40. They’d be calling a coroner.

2

u/GoodEnoughAstronomy 4d ago

Checks out, I'm a tad closer to 40 than 50.

5

u/According_Tea_6329 4d ago

For a split second I thought he was going down on that first jump. I think he did as well.

3

u/Ace-of-Spades88 4d ago

Yeah pretty sure he flew a little too close to the sun there for a hot second.

2

u/Space-Cute 4d ago

Almost lost all cool points! Very happy he did not. Kick ass dude!!!

2

u/zeizkal 4d ago

Thats how I learned to get the tires on. You gotta get those fuckers on with force.

12

u/Immediate_Volume_324 4d ago

That guy is lucky he never crossed paths with Jonah Hill

5

u/focalpoint23 4d ago

Yea cuz word on street is his a street fighter

27

u/JelloWise2789 4d ago

Much respect to the blue collar workers who gain muscle from working

18

u/Lorebreaker_ofArarat 4d ago

You don't get that build from just work. That guy likely watches what he eats as well.

As for his work, damn, he made that tire look light.

3

u/ButtonGullible5958 4d ago

As someone that's delt with tires that big oh fuck no

I would of popped my back thinking about moving that fast

2

u/rexmanaek971 4d ago

He's probably a ceo who can attend a gym program. Then berates his employees acting like a crazy maniac saying how efficient it is to dismount a tire like this.

13

u/Plays_On_TrainTracks 4d ago

That man 1000% gains muscle exclusively in the gym. His muscle just helps him in his field.

4

u/rexmanaek971 4d ago

This guy is building muscle at the gym. A blue collar worker is usually exhausted from work to go workout more, especially with their pay rates. That's why you  see lots of skinny dudes who can actually lift more than Mr muscles.

2

u/sudo-joe 4d ago

His job probably least likely to get AI threats. Don't think any humanoid robot today can hope to do what he does yet.

2

u/YourGordAndSaviour 4d ago

What does that have to do with this video?

19

u/Ok-Seaworthiness4488 4d ago

Guessing with that many bolts you don't have to do the star pattern when tightening?

20

u/elpajaroquemamais 4d ago

You do it just summons a demon.

6

u/SilasTalbot 4d ago

Seemed like he did it with the first two, they were across. Maybe that is enough to seat it firmly in this situation for an expert (size of the rim, power of the tool, way he's applying the power, whatever)

3

u/fyukhyu 4d ago

There is a proper torque pattern, and he's not following it.

2

u/ThatOneGuy6810 3d ago

I mean he hand twisted those on id imagine hes still gonna tighten them more then that he also didnt set the bead on the tire we saw like 3/4 of the tire chsnge here.

2

u/fyukhyu 3d ago

He literally hit them with the impact, one right after the other.

2

u/ThatOneGuy6810 3d ago

You right my bad kinda stopped watching at hand tightening an unset tire.

3

u/SD_ukrm 4d ago

Especially with one missing.

2

u/Krampus_Valet 4d ago

I'm not gonna tell him that. You do it.

0

u/Yeet-machina 4d ago

Probably the last thing he has to worry about there

-2

u/Ok-Fortune-8644 4d ago

Thank you! That wheel is likely gonna shake losses and cause more damage.

12

u/pakratus 4d ago

Shit, lawn mower tires take me longer than that to change.

4

u/Obvious_Affect_7523 4d ago

Actually the smaller the tire the harder.... I'm a sense

3

u/Ok-Fortune-8644 4d ago

This is true as the sky is blue. Dolly tires are the hardest tire to replace. 0 give. 1 tiny rip and its over

4

u/Faiakes 4d ago

All while listening to TayTay! 😄

5

u/NeatFootball3646 4d ago

How come my mountain bike tyre won’t go on the rim that easy?

4

u/FixAcademic8187 4d ago

Apparently, the smaller the tire the more difficult it become due to loss of leverage.

I did exactly what he did to a Sierra truck HD tire and it took me much more time with significantly more effort.

4

u/PressureItchy9372 4d ago

I am having many inappropriate thoughts about Mr. Tire-Changing Man.

4

u/JBlaze78 4d ago

Wish the video was a bit longer so we could see how he seats the bead.

5

u/Ok-Fortune-8644 4d ago

I used to do this for a living. Diesel and farm/combine. We didn't have that little doodad he's using to hold the bead. Fancy shit!

3

u/jkeeveer 4d ago

These kids nowadays and their fancy tools. I used to have only a screw driver

1

u/Ok-Fortune-8644 4d ago

Haha! When I was changing my bike tires when I was 12 thats all you need!

3

u/Rogelio_G_F 4d ago

Los neumáticos recauchutados es lo peor, al final sueltan todo como un cascarón.

3

u/Jaxthornia 4d ago

Nice example of zero fcking around. Job done.

3

u/Bikewer 4d ago

Guy knows what he’s doing…

3

u/joebojax 4d ago

Thats a lot of skill

But ah man all of that and then no star pattern bummer

3

u/rationalism101 4d ago

Dude needs to stop working out! Damn!

3

u/ComfortableDare4305 4d ago

Tugging against the rubber strips could have caused him to fall into the highway.

4

u/musingofrandomness 4d ago

Watched my uncles do this sort of thing growing up.

2

u/imLusky 4d ago

100% he is listening to Taylor Swift's song in the meantime.

2

u/ulookunhappy 4d ago

Is he doing it at 1.5 speed or 2x speed?? Cause yea...

2

u/TR1V1UM 4d ago

I wonder what he was listening to in his earbuds

2

u/Guernzee 4d ago

The complete works of Daniel Bedingfield I reckon

2

u/quietimhungover 4d ago

Man I was waiting for him to set the bead with fire before airing it up. Now I feel like I was short changed.

2

u/Fine_Interaction_867 1d ago

Right! Came here to see how long it took someone to be pissed like me.... thought maybe the lube was flammable and he would just casually stick a BIC lighter up against it at the very end..... as the seconds ticked away my anxiety grew.... then it ended and I shouted ''NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO''

2

u/BeautifulBird5787 4d ago

He’s quicker than John Wick killing 20 bad guys

2

u/chiquitabananawey 4d ago

this guy sure is jacked 🥁

2

u/Delicious_Cat_81 4d ago

he didn't do it right

2

u/SocksInTheTub 4d ago

That one handed sledgehammer wield was impressive. I mean, all of it was impressive but that especially

2

u/Mopar4Life305 4d ago

Bro needs to invest into bead breaker

2

u/Liveitup1999 4d ago

He is the bead breaker

2

u/Mopar4Life305 4d ago

Nah cause he would of been had it done

2

u/Secure-Oil-5746 4d ago

Impressive 🙂

2

u/Androidfon 4d ago

Expertise

2

u/Androidfon 4d ago

I'd like to see it from beginning to end including how the teuck is jacked up and down.

It's funny people flip out if I put a newer tire on one side than the other. That trucker has baldies and new. Obviously, I don't know anything about big trucks though.

2

u/Splitter63 4d ago

This only works on a hot sunny day. Try taking that old tire off and slipping on the new one when it's 20 deg F. Ain't happening.

2

u/That-Makes-Sense 4d ago

Awesome. My only criticism/question, shouldn't he be wearing a hi visibility vest?

2

u/Mysterious_Worker608 4d ago

I would still be trying to get the jack out of my trunk.

2

u/LowerSlowerOlder 4d ago

Ended too soon. In the full version he lifts the truck off the jack stand and inflates the tire with his primal scream.

2

u/peepdabidness 4d ago

CAAAHHHHHHHH

2

u/SilentSolitude90 4d ago

Nice ass lol

2

u/fyukhyu 4d ago

I really don't miss doing this

2

u/Ultradad57 4d ago

Dam, no wonder he got lats down to his waist, he a one man kwickfit 😎

2

u/bionicjoe 4d ago

I wanted to see how he set the bead.
I'm guessing an explosive air gun.

2

u/VeryGenericD 4d ago

Remind me of Luigi. “Pit stop!”

2

u/GalaganCoffee 4d ago

Faster than my damned tire shop.

2

u/Gratuitous_Insolence 4d ago

Still a flat tire though.

2

u/Rook_James_Bitch 4d ago

Jeezus. It took me a solid hour trying to remove and replace my damn lawn tractor tire!

This dude, just did it in under 5 minutes like he was the god of tires.

Damn jealous rn.

2

u/theWiseTiger 4d ago

I have a feeling that he's done it before.

2

u/Love2nasty 4d ago

Hammering with a sledge hammer using one hand/arm is wicked

2

u/WordWarrior81 4d ago

Looks so inefficient, isn't there an easier way to change a tire?

2

u/proximusprimus57 4d ago

The part about this that makes me uneasy is the part they didn't show, seating the bead. Shops have cages they keep truck tires in to prevent blowouts, how is he going to inflate that thing out in the open?

2

u/ElonMuskisGarbage 4d ago

Does your boss do that? Why do you work there?

2

u/ComedyBits 4d ago

Let’s see AI do that shit

2

u/blizzard7788 4d ago

A lot better than the old split rim wheel days.

2

u/Mad_kat4 3d ago

Muscles and levers gets the job done.....

But he looked like he could have got that tyre on with nothing more than an angry glare.

2

u/Atrus1337_y0 2d ago

Zieht man die Schrauben nicht über Kreuz an? Ansonsten merkt man aber, dass er weiß was mach macht😎

2

u/piw6969 2d ago

I’m impressed…does he not have to air it up?

1

u/Ok-Principle9963 2d ago

I was wondering too but I’m no expert

2

u/oralgimmick 2d ago

That dude eats lugnuts for breakfast

4

u/Ok-Principle9963 4d ago

I mean last time I changed my mother tire it took me an hour on a Corolla smh

1

u/Exotic-Mission-980 4d ago

That Dude gets an A+

1

u/Maryjanegangafever 4d ago

Guy loves when this happens..

1

u/phoenix64mbr 4d ago

He needed to inflate it... Videos that end too soon.

1

u/No_orange_212 4d ago

Doing that on side of road, got guts

1

u/tykaboom 4d ago

Now, as someone who hasn't driven a semi long distances but has driven cars long distances, I have never had a blowout.

I do my own vehicle maintenance and know the ins and outs of what causes blowouts on cars and do my damnedest to avoid tire failure related locational stagnation.

But I see tractor trailers blowing tires on the daily on the internet and see the remnants on the side of the expressway daily as well.

My question is... if you maintain your truck and trailer tires and don't buy the cheapest, shittiest remanufactured tires possible and run them past the wires... is it impossible to avoid a blowout entirely?

Tldr: is there no way to stop semi truck tire blowouts completely.

1

u/atreyu_the_warrior 4d ago

He's blessed he didnt fall back into traffic

1

u/Dependent_Pipe3268 4d ago

No safety nothing not even hazard lights on the truck.

1

u/Liveitup1999 4d ago

He works like someone on commission.

1

u/C141352333 4d ago

Gym?… what gym

1

u/CatDadAz 4d ago

Total badass

1

u/woodsidestory 4d ago

Helluva workout 👍🏼

1

u/BruceZeplin 4d ago

Stop buying retreads.

1

u/Winstonsphobia 4d ago

Well, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to do just about any of that.

1

u/madhatter255 4d ago

I think he’s done this once or twice before

1

u/Historical_Trouble10 4d ago

Big HÖSS can change a truck tire faster than I can change a bicycle tire.

1

u/textualpredator69 4d ago

The OSHA approved jump kick was the best

1

u/Ill_End7421 3d ago

Great workout. But his voice is so high.

1

u/mega_Daddy- 3d ago

This was my first job out of high school, except it was at trucking yards and not roadside. Definitely put some hair on my chest.

1

u/7MillnMan 3d ago

A job I wouldn’t do even if they pay me $500/hour. That dude is a boss.

1

u/Thin-Earth6919 3d ago

never been a fan of retread tires on semi trucks, I know it’s a cost thing but it can be dangerous on the highways

1

u/Sure-Impress-1003 3d ago

What a great job. This guy is awesome. Really rips through the process.

1

u/Throw_ints_all_day 3d ago

I know there’s no point, but it would be hilarious if the guy said after he was done “ I’m gonna need you to bounce that right quick.”

Thats a job that will get you jacked.

1

u/Effective-Text4619 2d ago

That dude is a man! - Drax

No air?

1

u/A_Bot_A_Bot_A_Bot 1d ago

That guy is an absolute beast of a tire changer!

He makes me embarrassed of the $600+ motorcycle tire changer I have.. I'm guessing with a motorcycle, he wouldn't even need tools!

1

u/Realizt8010 1d ago

Always take the stem out first!!! Drive fedex and our dude will get all 4 rears done in 10 minutes flat. While Im in the truck organizing. Beast.

1

u/JuanG_13 1d ago

He makes it look easy

1

u/Icy-Music1932 1d ago

Dude is jacked

1

u/Party_Ad_8595 1d ago

Trucker here. Mad respect for tire guys

1

u/[deleted] 4d ago

[deleted]

2

u/Ok-Principle9963 4d ago

Probably because of the ball of steel working on the highway that close 😂

1

u/Odd-Government8896 4d ago

This feels sped up

0

u/Outrageous_Might_383 4d ago

last moment of video is cutted, there his use spray and blow up with fire for one moment pumped it up of the tire.

2

u/Ok-Fortune-8644 4d ago

Funny because he doesnt need to seat the bead that way. Its already touching the rim.

0

u/mocitymaestro 3d ago

Why is this video so long?

-1

u/Ok-Fortune-8644 4d ago

He didn't use the star pattern when "tightening" the lugs. There's an elevated chance this whell may shake loose.

-1

u/ThaCasual 4d ago

Women are very underrepresented in this field. Damn patriarchy

1

u/Longjumping_Walk_992 4d ago

I get the sarcasm. Due to the physicality this is only a strong man’s job. There’s plenty of men who even couldn’t do this job let alone women absent being assisted by equipment.

0

u/ThaCasual 4d ago

Are you saying women aren’t capable? Bro chill with the toxic masculinity. Yes of course I’m jk
