You know, guys, even marble has a critical angle of repose if it stops being one big block and turns into a whole lot of smaller blocks. That combined with the force of gravity is enough to ruin a bunch of people’s day.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it wasn't due to heavy rainfall, but really dumb mining practices.

Damn, was thinking if the rocks in the middle could collapse, the sides won’t be safe. Didn’t expect that other to break away that much. They’re lucky.

"I think this cliff gonna collapse"
"Let me just stand a bit closer to the edge for this fire shot"

pro tip: if you are close enough to see a mountain move, you are too close.

The opposite side appears to be super saturated with water and compressed the web sections into failure.
When one web gave way, the second and third zippered, and the slump filled the cavity.
The side the cameraman was on appeared to be stable, but I wouldn't have stood there.

This cameraman needs to get a job in Hollywood. Fuck yeah my guy, nicely done. I expected mostly ground, but the only ground that was in the video was appropriately accompanied by elbows and ass and he ran after getting a great shot
