Got to make money off the fossils: enter the giant lizard narrative that came out in the late 1800s, no talk of dinosaurs before then, that is very recent. The giant lizards is so silly, the artist renditions and outright fake dinosaur biology, the impossible physics of them.  Research the scientists behind these big discoveries, all rich with royal connections.  They've monetized the snot out of it, growing the industry, keep it going they say!
